In addition to the huge support we lend to our national charity partners — Jumpstart, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Student Conservation Association — American Eagle Outfitters and the AE Foundation give back through the following programs:
Gift Card Donations
AE donates a limited number of $25 gift cards to college and high school sponsored drug-free
Volunteer Events that strive to keep teens and college students safe.
To request a gift card, please submit a letter on your organization's letterhead at least 6 weeks before your donation is needed. Be sure to include: A brief description of your organization and event, Federal Tax Exempt Number and how you will recognize AE as a contributing sponsor of your event.
While we would like to respond to all requests favorably, the number we receive far exceeds our funding capacity. If your donation request is granted, you will receive a letter and gift card within 6 weeks after we receive your request.

Financial Grants
Each year, the AE Foundation will allocate a limited amount of funding to nonprofit, public
charities in Pittsburgh, New York City and Ottawa, Kansas with tax exempt status under
Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code that fall within the scope of its mission.
Before an organization is considered for a donation, it must fulfill the criteria listed in the
Funding Guidelines.

Eagles in the Region
Through the Eagles in the Region program, the AE Foundation makes small grants to
programs throughout the U.S. and Canada that support student related programs focused on youth
development and conserving the environment. Each of American Eagle's 11 regions receives $5,000 per year to allocate to
local charity requests in areas where AE operates stores. If you would like to request a small
donation from this program, please notify the Foundation office in writing at the following
address so that we may forward your information to our Eagles in the Region Community
Captain.
